Activate Windows 8.1 for Free Using Microsoft Toolkit

There seems to be little information about the way the activation system works in Windows 8, especially for consumer versions of Windows (Core/Pro, not Enterprise). We  know that Microsoft now requires you to enter a key before even starting the installation process, However, the key isn't activated at install time and the installation goes just fine without Internet connection (or calling Microsoft). After the installation finishes, you can create your local account (connecting Microsoft Accounts is unavailable because there's no Internet connection) and you land in the Start Screen, which isn't any different from the Start Screen of an activated copy.

You can still work on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 without activating, But Don't expect your life to be easy, though. Microsoft will try to encourage you to activate your copy of Windows 8.

Microsoft toolkit by Daz team is used for activating windows and office. Yes you can activate both biggest MS products in the market. The best thing is toolkit 2.5.2 version now support windows 8.1 and office 2013. Download it from below.

Before you continue we suggest you do the following:

  • Temporary disable your Anti-Virus protection. (Some of virus guard will never allow MS Toolkit to modify system registry and activate any Microsoft product!)
  • Temporary disable your Windows Firewall
  • Download Microsoft Toolkit Please google “Download Microsoft Toolkit” for the link, and download Version 2.5.2 or latest.
  • Run the downloaded Microsoft Toolkit.  Right click on the executable file and choose Run As Administrator.

Activate Windows 8.1 for Free

  • You need to click on the respective icon on the bottom right. That is, if you are going to activate windows, click on Windows Icon. And if you are going to activate Office, click on Office ORB Icon. Choose the product you want to get activated and wait a few seconds.

Activate Windows 8.1 for Free_3

  • Click on Activation Tab and Then click on EZ-Activator for Easy Activation or you can choose Activate.
  • Wait a few seconds for Activation Successful conformation message in the Information Console. If you get Activation Failed or any other error message, Please check if you have disabled Windows Firewall and Antivirus. If you still face problem, please let us know in the comment.
  • Restart your PC and enjoy a fully activated Windows / Office.
  • Re enable your Anti-Virus protection and Windows Firewall.

Advantages of Microsoft Toolkit:

Microsoft toolkit is a combination of all activators. Auto KMS and EZ activator modules are built in to provide a perfect activation algorithm. Also toolkit support manually call activation system. What you have to do is click phone button and get the 12 digit code and call Microsoft through Skype. Then provide the code which is getting from the toolkit. As I mention above this tool is 2 in one software, yes you can activate up to 8.1 and up to MS office 2013. What you have to do is select first what activator do you need. That’s all. For the all activation information please see below description.

Compare with other activators toolkit beat all of them, because toolkit has special validation module validate your activation. Any other activators do not provide that. 2nd option is user selected. Before the activation process user must select an activation method. There are two activation method Auto KMS and EZ activator. If you are a windows lover you should know about KMS developers. They are number one server base activation provider in the world. EZ activator module developed by DAZ team. Same team developed windows loader. So now you can get an idea about how cool this application is.

Remove Windows Not Genuine Watermark Without Using Any Patches And Cracks | Make Windows 7 Genuine Without Using Crack

In this article we will learn how to make your Windows 7 Genuine without using any crack or third party tools. Please remember we on bench3 do not motivate you to use non genuine windows. This is not a patch or crack stuff. We are just using the build in VBS code that Microsoft have developed for some other reason.

Warning! This article has been given only for informational and educational purpose. We do not encourage pirated or illegal software. If you’re using an illegal copy of the software, please purchase an original copy. bench3 is not responsible for your work or use.

The first time you power up Windows 7, you may feel a sense — it looks very similar to Windows Vista. However, behind the familiar UI lies a more powerful and versatile operating system. The activation part is not the same as you know in case of Windows Vista. What ever it is, if you want to know the new features of Windows 7, Here are some of the most prominent new features in Windows 7. Read more: http://www.bench3.com/2009/10/new-features-of-windows-7-new-in.html

If you have purchased Windows 7 from Microsoft Store or from other vendor, we would recommend you to read the official document related to activating Microsoft Windows 7 in the following location. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Windows-7-activation-error-invalid-product-key

Here is an simple way u can make your windows 7 genuine. No need to use and third party patches or cracks. Just a simple way.

If you have exceeded the maximum allowed rearm, please read the last section of this post on how to modify the registry to rearm again.

Before  you continue , please make sure you have administration rights on the Windows 7 machine which you want to make genuine.

1. Click Start and type cmd in start menu search box (Refer Screen Shot).

2. right click the cmd.exe and choose run as administrator (refer Screen Shot).

3. Choose yes if it asks.

4. Now Now in the command prompt window, type slmgr -rearm and press enter (Refer Screen Shot).

5. Restart your system. Try to restart your system twice.

6. You are done.

What you have to realize is that if you apply this fix while you can still see your desktop background, it will rearm the system for another 30 days, up to a maximum of 3 times.

If you apply the fix after you lose your background (ie your desktop wallpaper background goes black, and you get the notification at the bottom right of the screen), you need to first uninstall the kb971033 update, then apply the fix. It will then be a PERMANENT fix. If you're running a Remove WAT program, WAT needs to be restored first. Never mind WAT, if you have no idea about that.

If you have exceeded the maximum allowed rearm, you will get an error message just like this,

" Error: 0xC004D307 The maximum allowed number of re-arms has been exceeded. You must re-install the OS before trying to re-arm again "

Well, here is a fix for that, Just do:

Locate the following in your Windows Registry,

  • [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform]
  • "SkipRearm"=dword:00000000

After your 3rd reset this key will be 00000000 - simply change it to 00000001

Now you can rearm again. It is just easy as it seems, no kidding!

How To Delay Or Extend The Product Activation Period

Retail versions of Windows 7 must be activated within 30 days. Otherwise, the system slips into an annoying state in which it notifies you, every 60 minutes, that the system must be activated. Still, the 30-day grace period is useful, especially if you’re just testing some things and want to ensure that your new install is working properly before you lock things down and tie your one product key to this particular PC.

That said, sometimes 30 days isn’t enough, and if you want to extend this grace period, we’ve got some good news: thanks to a barely documented feature aimed at Microsoft’s corporate customers, it’s actually possible to extend the activation grace period up to a total of 150 days. You just have to be a bit vigilant.

The key to extending the grace period is a command-line program in Windows 7 called Software Licensing Manager (SLMGR), which is actually a VBScript script named slmgr.vbs. Which can be found in c:\windows\system32 by default.

Using this script with the –rearm parameter, you can reset (or, in Software Licensing Manager lingo, “re-arm”) Windows 7’s 0-day activation grace period. This effectively resets the clock on the activation grace period back to a full 30 days whenever you run it.

Unfortunately, you can run this script successfully only four times, so it’s theoretically possible to re-arm the product activation grace period to a total of 150 days (30 days of initial grace period plus four additional 30-day grace periods). That said, even the most careful of users will likely want to re-arm the grace period with a few days remaining each time, but you’re still looking at over 100 days of non-activated Windows 7 usage.

You can view your current grace period in the System window. To do so, open the Start menu, right-click the Computer icon, and choose Properties. The bottom section of this window, Windows activation, displays how many days you have until the grace period ends, and provides a link to activate Windows immediately, as shown in Figure below.

Delay Or Extend The ProductActivation Period

Figure : Time to activate…or re-arm the grace period.

Here’s how to re-arm the Windows 7 product-activation grace period:

1. Open the Start menu, select Search, and type cmd.

2. Right-click the cmd shortcut that appears and choose Run as Administrator from the pop-up menu that appears. Windows 7’s command-line window appears.

Extend The Product ActivationPeriod

3. Type the following text in the command-line window and press Enter when complete:

slmgr.vbs -rearm

When the command is run successfully, the Windows Script Host window shown in Figure below appears, noting “Command completed successfully. Please restart the system for the changes to take effect.”

Extend The Product Activation Period

Figure: Happiness is a full 30-day grace period.

4. Click OK to close the Windows Script Host window and then restart the PC. When you reboot, reload the System window.

The grace period has been reset to 30 more days.

Software Licensing Manager script

The Software Licensing Manager script wasn’t designed solely to extend the Windows 7 grace period. If you run slmgr.vbs from a Windows 7 command-line window without any parameters, you’ll eventually be presented with the dialog shown in the first screen shot below and followed by three other dialog boxes, displaying the many possible options (Note: Figure below shows all the four dialog you see in succession).

The most interesting of these include the following:

  • -ipk: Enables you to change the Windows product key
  • -dlv: Displays a detailed list of license information about your PC, including the Windows 7 product version and type (e.g., retail)
  • -ato: Activates Windows 7

Fix Error 0xC0000022 | Windows 7 Was Not Genuine Message

If on any day you receive the notification that the copy of Windows 7 was not genuine. This normally happens when you do some unattended upgrades in the last few days or week or so. This can happen when you purchased Windows 7 Home and then you did a upgrade to higher versions.

Now even when I try to run small programs like slui.exe , you may get a black screen and a message:

0xC0000022 {Access Denied} A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights.

Solution:

The only reasons (that I know of) for getting the "System Error 2 The system cannot find the file specified." error is either:

  • 1. The files are missing. That is, the files are not located in their proper folder
  •
  • 2. The registry entry that tells Windows were to find the files is messed up in some way. That is, Windows doesn't know what folder to look in or is being told to look in the wrong folder)

Since you have already verified that the files do exist and appear to be in the correct folder I believe the issue is Registry based.

However, Troubleshooting Registry issues can be dangerous. But otherwise I recommend contacting Microsoft Assisted Support (at one of the below URLs) or if you are not successful with that link, as a last resort, reinstall Windows.

Use Windows Server 2008 Without Activation

In this post, we’ll know how to use Windows Server 2008 after the initial evaluation period that is 60 days without activation and entry of a product key.

Evaluating Windows Server 2008 software does not require product activation. Any edition of Windows Server 2008 may be installed without activation, and it may be evaluated for 60 days. Additionally, the 60-day evaluation period may be reset (re-armed) three times. This action extends the original 60-day evaluation period by up to 180 days for a total possible evaluation time of 240 days.

How to install Windows Server 2008 without activating it

  • During Windows Server 2008 Setup , when you are prompted to enter a product key for activation, do not enter a key. Click No when Setup asks you to confirm your selection.
  • You may be prompted to select the edition of Windows Server 2008 that you want to evaluate. Select the edition that you want to install.
  • When you are prompted, read the evaluation terms in the Microsoft Software License Terms, and then accept the terms.
  • When the Windows Server 2008 Setup program is finished, your initial 60-day evaluation period starts.

To check the time that is left on your current evaluation period, run the Slmgr.vbs script that is in the System32 folder. Use the -dli switch to run this script. The slmgr.vbs -dli command displays the number of days that are left in the current 60-day evaluation period.

How to manually extend the evaluation period
When the initial 60-day evaluation period nears its end, you can run the Slmgr.vbs script to reset the evaluation period. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Click Start, and then click Command Prompt.
  • Type slmgr.vbs -dli, and then press ENTER to check the current status of your evaluation period.
  • To reset the evaluation period, type slmgr.vbs –rearm, and then press ENTER.
  • Restart the computer

This resets the evaluation period to 60 days. Remember that you can do this three times.

Do We Need To Activate Windows Again After Hardware Changes

The question is simple, Do we need to re-activate windows 7 each time we do any hardware upgrade or changes? For example, I had a windows 7 PC running for more than a year and recently I put a new motherboard in my computer.. It is the same board except for the bios version.

It came up and told me I had 3 days to activate. I went ahead and activated it again and now it has been running for 12 hours with no problems.

I am just wondering if it will hold?

Only Microsoft can give you the best answer for this question, and see the following FAQ (Do I need to activate Windows after making a hardware change?): Hope this helps.

Personally, I believe it will be ok. Look in control panel under system and go to bottom of page and see what it says under windows activation. If it doesn't give a time limit you should be fine.
