Armed to its newly sharpened teeth and carrying the legacy of a legend, the Motorola RAZR XT910 is one of the best Android phones on the market.
The 4.3" SuperAMOLED screen boasts higher resolution than, say, the Samsung Galaxy S II. It bumps up the pixel density to 256ppi (up from 217ppi). And with a dual-core processor running at 1.2GHz and 1GB RAM, it's got enough processing power to challenge the other dual-cores. It has an 8MP camera with 1080p recording too.
The RAZR droid is only 7.1mm thick throughout and about 10.7mm at the bulge that holds the camera and loudspeaker.
Been using this phone for a week now and over all its a nice phone packed with features. Here is the list of Pros and Cons I would like to share…
Pros of Motorola RAZR XT910:
- Very good visibility even under the sun.
- Very good GPS as compared to others. Locks immediately.
- Very responsive.
- Plays HD videos very well.
- Moto cast is brilliant.
- Brilliant camera.
- Very good call quality.
- Powerful signal reception.
Cons of Motorola RAZR XT910:
- The phone is thicker at the top
- Motorola RAZR XT910 is bigger than the regular or other 4.3 smart phones.
- Black splotches on black screen. Doesn't impact the display though.
- Lose power Button.
- Don't get full wifi signal even when the router is next to me.
- Average battery life even with 1780 mAh battery.
- Screen uses PenTile matrix (offset by high ppi); a little dim too
- No FM radio
- No dedicated shutter key
- MicroSIM card support only
- Non-user-replaceable battery

The RAZR may be thin but it's hardly fragile - it uses Kevlar to cover its back and Gorilla Glass to secure the front. It's splash-resistant too.
The Motorola RAZR comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread out of the box and a completely new user interface. It's quite nice, with helpful tools to streamline your interaction with your phone but we missed some functionality in some places too.
In general, this has very good display - not overly saturated. The SMARTACTIONs is indeed smart automation. In general - very satisfied - very big though. Could be better if released in a bit smaller size (shorter width) by removing a bit of the bezel.
