Strong passwords are the first line of defence against unauthorized access to your information assets.
Here are some of the tips you need to consider before setting up your password.
• Strong password are at least 8 characters long
• Never write or store passwords in a readable format
• They should contain at least 3 of the following: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, special characters
• Do not use password saving features in any application or software. This would defeat the purpose of having a password
• Do not repeat any of the last 5 passwords
• Your password should not contain a dictionary word, your username, child's name, pet's name, birthdays, abc 123, password1, etc.

- Turn words into shorthand or intentionally misspell a word.

- Add length with numbers. Put numbers that are meaningful to you after the sentence.
