Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus With Bigger Screen And Faster Processor

Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus smartphone is an updated version of its entry-level Galaxy Ace that debuted around this time last year. The Galaxy Ace Plus offers a number of improvements over the older model, including a larger display and a faster processor.

The Galaxy Ace Plus packs a 3.65-inch HVGA (320 x 480 pixel) display in a 114.7mm x 62.5mm x 11.2mm (4.5in x 2.46in x 0.44in) frame. The Ace Plus features a refined design with rounded corners and a glossy back.

Like many Samsung smartphones, the Ace Plus is rather light, tipping the scales at a feathery 115g (4oz). It has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, but it maxes out its video capabilities at 800 x 480 pixels - no HD shooting here.

Powering the Galaxy Ace Plus is an upgraded 1GHz, single-core processor and 512MB of RAM. The phone has 3GB of internal storage out of the box, and it supports microSD cards up to 32GB in capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus Up With Bigger Screen And Faster Processor

1,300mAh battery provides the juice that powers the device. The phone supports HSPA 7.2Mbps connections, but only on the 900 and 2100MHz bands, so 3G service is available in Europe and Asia only.

The Galaxy Ace Plus runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung's TouchWiz interface.

Here is some point to mention why its not worth paying that extra money on Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus.

Even though Galaxy Ace has got a nice upgrade, the resolution is still too low. And Adreno 200 not that good with recording is still VGA.

And remember, No Gorilla Glass. It could be the biggest deal breaker. The battery-life of original Ace was poor and this model has even lower battery capacity.

With this pricing at-least one should get better display on it with more pixels per inch. But, unfortunately its not the case with Samsung Galaxy Ace plus. It has GRAINY display with very low graphics. Its pixel density is so low that you wont enjoy surfing internet. When you are paying for more , ideally you should get a phone with nice eye catching display. All they did is they just increased the processor and Ram. We expect some better handsets from Samsung.

Does this upgraded is really an upgrade? Most of us don't think so. Not at all, the upgrade we are talking here is the steep price and internal memory and just the slightly over clocked cpu (200 to be precise)-that's it, thats what u get after paying $100 more compared to older galaxy ace.

It is just not worth the price because-

display resolution is the biggest drawback of this handset as the size has increased a bit the resolution is exact same as the original galaxy ace which results in poor quality display and blur images and over all user experience is extremely poor.

Adreno 200 gpu is very very old and is just not capable of handling modern day graphics and games, forget watching HD videos and playing HD games as other competitors in this price range are easily capable of doing (some(for example, Sony Ericsson Neo even have hdmi port,)

So, remember u are paying the price for this out-dated configuration. There are much better alternatives out their which u can get for much cheaper price and can have alot more of the features.

My recommendation is, instead of spending your money buying this. Go for Samsung Galaxy S. If the price would have been lower, it would have been an awesome phone. Those who want to go for it, I'd say wait for the price to drop or wait of the Ace 2.

go for Sony Ericson neo v.it has a new design and looks really good in reddish trim. And also it will be officially updated to android Ice-cream Sandwich (ICS). Instead of the boring designs of the Samsung which is now no where head turner,it sets u apart from the crowd. Don't worry about the internal memory because u can get transcend 8 GB high class4 memory card for less than 6 dollars.

its a sequel to Ace; but its not been improved in specification, since it doesn't support hd videos, it doesn't have secondary camera. Even the pixel density(158) is very low compared to ace(165). Its not a good sequel to ace... Samsung should have improved these spec also...
