No Updates For Windows Vista Since May 10th

This is a short post to talk about Microsoft Updates for Windows Vista. Every one is aware that Microsoft often used to release some patches for its Operating System Windows in the form of Windows Update. And recently there has been no updates for Windows Vista. When I check for updates, it says there's no new updates for my computer.

No security update! does it mean Windows Vista Is more Secure these days? What ever, we have no idea, but when contacted Windows Support regarding this, they made i t confirm that Microsoft Update have not have released for Windows Vista since the one that is released on  May 10th.

However, if you have installed any of the Security Software's from Microsoft like Windows Defender or Microsoft Security Essentials, you are supposed to get update at least once a week. If you have not received updates even for those products, then something seriously was wrong with your system. It wont be a bad idea to double check your anti virus and firewall software in such case.

There have been no Vista updates released since 10th May, apart from Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials definitions if you have these products.

And for your information, the next update for Windows Vista is scheduled to be released at 10.00am PST on 14th June.
