To remove a saved Windows Live account from your sign in page, click the little x on the upper right corner of the box enclosing the Windows Live ID that you want to remove. A box forms around the Windows Live ID once you move the mouse pointer over the account name.
To remove a Windows Live ID from your computer to keep unwanted sign-in information from appearing on Web pages, please follow the steps below:
1. Click “Start,” and then click “Control Panel.”
2. Double-click “User Accounts.”
3. Follow one of these steps:
- If your computer is joined to a domain, click the “Advanced” tab, and then click “Manage Passwords.”
- If your computer is not joined to a domain, click your account name, and then click “Manage my network passwords” under “Related Tasks.”
4. Select the Windows Live ID for which you want to remove the credentials, click “Remove,” and then click “OK.”
5. Click “Close” to close the “Stored User Names and Passwords” dialog box and save your changes.
