I use mmc 3.0 with the remote desktop snap-in to manage all my servers because it's easy to switch back and forth with RDP. The options with MMC 3.0 and the RDP snap-in are quite limited though, specifically, I'd like the functionality of mapped drive pass-through, and alt-tab on the remote machine.
I know it's not an option in the default GUI - Is this possible by modifying the saved file or by another means?
Solution:
Based on our research, that’s hard to add option in MMC, the function and options in MMC is released by design. One have to understand this.
In addition, we can use RSAT for an administrator in Windows 7 to remote manage servers, may be that tools you will interested.
