Have you ever come across a situation, when you open your office application, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc etc.. and find nothing and nothing really worked when you click on the HELP For that product? Simply, your help and How-to doesn't work. it just so happened to one of my friend that he needed some assistance in Excel and he found nothing.
When he opened the help and the window opened but displayed nothing. In on-line view he opened the table of contents tried clicking on some things and nothing. Off-line mode table of contents in the preview came up, click on somethings there and nothing, click home, nothing, click everything and again nothing... Then open up word, onenote, outlook, access and visio check with Help? and no help nothing. When I get going on using the programs in Office, the Office Help is an priceless resource for anyone, and when it doesn't work, it's "Most" frustating.
Solution:
- Check your version of Office 2010 by opening any Office application and then clicking File -> Help.
- In the right pane, check the version number - it should be something like 14.0.XXXX.1000.
- The "XXXX" should be 4763 or higher.
- If not, you have a pre-release version installed, which most likely did not yet have the help files installed.
- If this is the case, you would need to upgrade to the released version. Contact your seller about this.
