Fix Error 2147500037 | Error Printing Home Group Password Info In Windows 7

You will come to this point where, when you try to print password info in Windows 7 Home Group, u will get a error code 2147500037 : How do we resolve the issue?

Solution 1: If your default browser is not Internet Explorer, Try to make Internet Explorer as your default web browser.

Now, try to print... in most cases, this will work. That is an AMAZINGLY stupid design from Microsoft. I was having the same problem and amazingly, reseting the web browser to Internet Explorer fixed it for me.
Which just begs the question: WHAT has the BROWSER got to do with the ability to click "print" on a NON-browser screen.
if the above method doesn't work, please check if you can print a document from Notepad or Word successfully.

At this stage, it's highly recommended to print a file from Notepad for a test. If the error persists, there is some problem with your printer.. or your printer driver or some print services in your Windows. So, you have to try to move to the next step on finding which one is at fault. Otherwise, I suggest you change the password for HomeGroup and then print it again.

Holy Crap that WORKED! What an amazingly odd "feature" of Internet Explorer... =P

I'm still just dumbfounded, but thank you for posting this, I never would have ever figured that one out on my own.

For taking the time to post this solutions. AS noted in the post above, a year ago February, I would have been totally lost if not for you.

Also, it's nice to see that you keep this posted, and it pops right up in a search, after all this time.

You remain...at least for today... my new best friend. Connie
