Fix Gadgets Problem In Windows Vista And WIndows 7

For some reason the gadgets in windows 7 are not working properly. I can open the gadget gallery and select a gadget, but it doesn't show the entire thing. For example i select the clock, and all it shows is a black square with the red ticking hand frozen. Another example is the CPU meter. All it shows when i click on it is a little white square where the meter should be. I can still close the gadgets by way of the close button on each gadget though (the calendar doesn't appear at all).

This could happen if you have recently made any update to your adobe software's. No matter if your UAC is on or off and no matter what edition of Windows you are using. 

Solution: 

This is what actually worked for me. And i hope it should work for you too.

• Go to your windows registry and look for the following
• HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\
• Do you see a little pseudo-graphic subkey between \Zones and subkey 0? If so, delete it. Now try your gadgets again.
