When you install the RC of Win7 SP1, you will get a watermark on your desktop "build 7601 watermark" what ever version of Windows 7 you be using , Retail or OEM, 32bit or 64 bit.
It is because you need to understand what RC Actually mean. Release Candidates Are Still Pre-Release Software, which is the reason for the Evaluation Copy Water Mark, And That All Builds Released Up Until The Release 2 Manufacturing Build (Or Sometimes Also Knows As Release to Web for Free Downloads) will contain both that water mark and the time bomb.
That is because the RC is not for production use, and it has a time bomb as well which makes it not very good for home use.
According to Microsoft The Release To Web Build Will Become Available in the 1st Half of 2011. Of course you are always welcome to try out the RC, but unless you have an alternate way of rolling back the RC just in case the Uninstaller does not work, you should probably hold off till RTW.
