  • We have received complaints on the heating issue on the phone, but it is expected and it is normal for such a huge phone, that is running on high resources, heating is expected when we are using it on high load.
  • It looks that Huawei Honor 5X does not support USB OTG (On The Go) and should be checked if it is available.
  • Even though the display is on good, it does look a bit dull
  • Fast charging is not supported, but I guess it can be achieved through a higher current charger, may be a 2A Charger can do its job well.

    Huawei SmartAX MT882 ADSL Modem Will Not Support Windows Vista And Windows 7

    I have laptop configured with Windows Vista. I trying to set up Broad Band net connection using Huawei SmartAX MT882 ADSL modem using Ethernet port.

    After struggling I'm not able to establish the connection. When I contacted the ISP Customer Care, they specify the LAN indication light should change to Green to Orange, then only you can establish the Connection. Since there is no provision for UBS drivers for this modem in windows vista. But the same modem works fine in Windows XP.

    But in any case you need to contact Huawei for the appropriate software and drivers.  Vista most likely requires different software and drivers than Windows XP so the fact that it works in XP is not relevant to it not working in Vista, but it does tell you the modem is functioning properly.
