This article focuses on how to Disable auto playing adverts and videos in Chrome, Firefox and IE.

What to do if you're fed up with adverts playing as soon as you open a web page. Here we show you how to stop videos and media from auto-playing when you open a website in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Recently there has been a big increase in websites that host autoplaying video adverts, this can be incredibly annoying if you're listening to music on your computer while browsing the web. Here we show you how to stop videos and media from autoplaying when you open a web page in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Autoplaying video, or media adverts is main source of income for most of the entry level bloggers. And is what ultimately funds the production of the content you wish to read. .

How to stop autoplaying ads, videos and media in Chrome

Disabling autoplay videos and media in Chrome is simple. First of all you need to type "chrome://chrome/settings/content" into the URL bar. Then all you need to do is scroll down to the plug-in section, and select 'click to play'.

How to stop autoplaying ads, videos and media in Firefox

Disabling ads/videos in Firefox is a little different from the process in Chrome. The first suggested way to stop Flash content from playing is to enter Firefox's configuration settings by typing "about:config" into the URL bar, accepting the warning, then entering "plugins.click_to_play" into the search box and toggling the settings. However, we experienced limited success with this method.

If this technique doesn't work for you, we suggest downloading the add-on Flash Block.

To install this all you need to do is Google search "Flash Block Firefox" and install/enable the add-on, and then restart Firefox. Make sure you download from a reputable source. All Flash content will now be click to play, until you disable or remove the add-on.

How to stop autoplaying ads, videos and media in Internet Explorer

Stopping videos, Flash media and autoplaying adverts in Internet Explorer is the easiest the three. Simply go to Tools, Safety and then click on the ActiveX Filtering option. This will then put a tick next to the option, indicating that filtering is enabled.

I hope you will benefit from this article. If enough people block them, then perhaps the websites will get the picture and tell the advertisers to STOP using autoplay videos. If they let the advertisers know that their "auto-load videos" aren't making it through, then the advertisers will switch to a more effective form of advertising. That is the nature of marketing.

Block Foresee Results Pop Up Ads

BLOCK "Foresee Results" POP UPS:  Has any one came across the "Foresee Results" ads that appear on some websites.?  I most frequently get but this company's ad even when I have my internet pop up blocker turned ON. It is not only annoying but an unwelcome intrusion on my browsing experience. These boxes pop right into the center of the screen and the only way to get rid of it is to click on NO (that you do NOT want to take their stupid survey). First they intrude on my screen, second, they cause me to stop what I am doing, and third they cause me to have to click on something to get rid of them. If that isn't annoying, I don't know what is.

I have searched the internet for over 2 hours looking for a solution, and I found it rather ODD that there wasn't more chatter going on about this company's ads. About the only thing I could find is they use a file by the name of "foresee-trigger.js" or "foresee-dhtml-popup.js" to start these ads on your computer. Here lets see how to block their scripts from running on the computer?

Try to install a complement for IE its the Ad Blocker. Just install the plugin and config the the blocker.
There are two way to Enable/Disable Flash Block
    1. "Preferrence" --> "Ad Filter" --> "Enable Flashing Blocking"
    2. Left click Internet Explorer 8 Pro Status Bar Icon --> "Enable Flashing Blocking"

or just add the links in Url Block

And the other option is, using a third party tool, This third party tool Adblock Plus might be of help. https://adblockplus.org/en/ Or you can contact Adblock Plus support for a customizing in their product.

For me, Adblock Plus did work for me. After installing it I opened the preferences section and added my own rule.
Paste this rule " */foresee-trigger.js " without the quotations.

    No more Forsee Results.

2% Of Internet Users Pay For 100% Of Internet Content

Only two in 100 people who browse the Internet actually click on the advertisements that fund websites, according to a new report by online ad network Chitika. The study, based on the actions of 86 million Internet users over a two-week period, helps illustrate the value of an individual “clicker,” and the vast business potential that remains untapped for website owners and advertisers alike.

During a two-week period in October, Chitika monitored ad clicks of a sample of 86,683,507 anonymous individuals throughout their 60,000+ publisher network to determine what percentage could be classified as “clickers.” During the two weeks focused on for this study, 1,863,710 of the anonymous individuals actually clicked on an ad at least once, for a 2.15% “clicker” rate.

Chitika has long championed the idea of knowing when not to show ads, claiming that by being able to accurately predict a user’s likelihood to click, the online advertising world can become at once less intrusive and more effective. Replacing old-media theories of advertising to demographics with predictive targeting towards the people most likely to act on an ad appears more and more viable with improving technology, and can go a long way towards helping online advertising dominate its traditional media counterparts.
Chitika, Inc., is a search-based online advertising network, leading the way in intent-based advertising and search engine insights. Chitika provides publishers with an innovative way to monetize search engine traffic, and advertisers a new way of generating leads with clear consumer intent. With over 60,000 sites and 2 billion monthly impressions, the Chitika network is the pulse of the online world. For more information or to join Chitika, visit chitika.com

How To Get Traffic From Feeds And Search Engine

Search engines simply die for "Feeder Pages", But, how to build it??

TRAFFIC, as we all know it is the life blood of your businesses VERY existence online, so wouldn’t it be nice if you could tap into some of that traffic, thats targeted Search Engine traffic, absolutely FREE Of Charge?
Well… your in luck because that’s the sole purpose of a “Feeder Page”. Now, the question that I found that usually arises with “Feeder Pages” is How-To  build them correctly. This was the exact question I had myself when I was first came across this type of website Traffic Generation and is why I’m writing this article. So, with that said, I hope by the time you finish reading this article you’ll have a good idea yourself of the steps neccessary on How-To build quality “Feeder Pages” of your own that will send you FREE targeted search engine traffic and generate you some Ad revenue as well.

Make Your “Feeder Pages” Theme Based.
This is an important tip. You must make your “Feeder Pages” the same theme as the rest of your website. What I mean by that is, same template, same navigation, same links, copyright, etc. By doing this it won’t seem as obvious to your visitor that its a generated page of some sort and will give you a better chance of them clicking through to your main sale pages.

Put Quality Keyword Rich Content On Your Pages.
This is yet another important tip you must consider and that is putting quality Keyword Targeted content on your “Feeder Pages” that targets your audience.
Why?... Because you are building these pages for the search engines and since roughly 85% of Internet surfers use search engines as their primary tool for locating the information they’re looking for your going to want to have Quality Content related to your Product or Service waiting for them to draw them in when they find your link within the search engine listings.

Add Links Back To Your Website Or Affiliate Site.
This next tip is pretty straight forward. All you need to do is put either a Text Ad(recommended) or some Banner Ads within the “Feeder Pages” in Highly Visible areas and link them back to your main website or Affiliate website.  This is the whole purpose of building these pages in the first place.

Placing your Google Adsense code for $$CASH$$.
Since your doing all this work to generate traffic to your main website why not profit EVEN MORE by adding 3 blocks of Google Adsense code to your “Feeder Pages” just in case your visitor decides not to click through to your website or affiliate site. And since your “Feeder Pages” have quality Keyword Targeted content on them, your Google Adsense Ads will display targeted ads.

The best places to put your 3 blocks of Google Adsense code is right at the top under your Header graphic if you have one. The next best place is in the upper left sidebar. And the last place is either within the content itself or at the end of the article.

These positions all depend on how you build your “Feeder Pages”, so make sure you plan out where you want to put your Google Adsense code in advance for Maximum PROFIT!

Add an RSS Feed To Your “Feeder Pages”.
Okay. Here’s the last tip I’m going to share and that is, add an RSS(Real Simple Syndication) feed to your “Feeder Pages”.  By doing this you’ll be putting your “Feeder Pages” on Autopilot, 24/7.

    Why an RSS feed?
Simple. RSS feeds deliver and syndicate fresh content, so if you have an RSS feed on your “Feeder Pages” your content will be updated ‘Automatically’ which will then trigger the search engine spiders to schedule routine visits back to your website for more indexing. And dont forget you can also make money from your blog's RSS Feed.. Read Here
